A spokesperson for BET Media Group confirmed Smith’s death Thursday evening in a statement on the Wild ‘N Out Instagram page.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” the statement read.

“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons,” the post continued. “More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

No cause of death was given.

But the Instagram account @surgeonmade_curves, which was among the first outlets to report Smith’s death, said she had been undergoing a plastic surgery procedure known as a “mommy makeover.” According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ website, the procedure typically includes “some form of breast surgery and a tummy tuck.”

Smith frequently posted pictures and videos of her children, Nova, Nala and Prince on Instagram.

Her most recent post was on May 19, when she shared an adorable home video. The footage showed an infant and two toddlers napping and included the caption: “When u get all ur kids to sleep at once.”

For Mother’s Day, she posted a picture of her three children sitting in her lap.
