Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett has confirmed to FOX3 News that Andre Longmore, the man accused of killing four individuals in a Henry County neighborhood, has been fatally shot.
Longmore, aged 40, was killed during a manhunt on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately, during the incident, a Henry County deputy and a Clayton County police officer sustained injuries.
Both the Henry County deputy and the Clayton County police officer involved in the incident are currently conscious.
The deputy is being airlifted by Life Flight to Grady Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
Police have disclosed that Andre Longmore initiated gunfire targeting residents in the Dogwood Lakes subdivision of Hampton, resulting in the tragic deaths of three men and one woman.
