Situation at Holman Middle School classified as a prank

Reports of an active shooter at Holman Middle School in the 600 block of Concourse Blvd were received by HPD/HFD just after 3 pm.

However, there are currently no active threats or injuries reported.

HCPS and HPD are collaborating to ensure the school is thoroughly cleared.

Numerous resources have been deployed to the scene.

Messaging will continue to come from this thread and from the HCPS communications team as we continue to clear the school.

Concourse Avenue is closed to thru traffic and is for only first responders.

Parents are directed to 11501 Nuckols Rd. Media Staging is 100 Concourse Blvd.
