According to Beaumont police, a suspect has been taken into custody after a fatal shooting at the Shell station located at Highway 105 and Major Drive. Sgt. Thomas Swope shared this information with FOX3 News.
The shooting is believed to have stemmed from an altercation between two individuals and appears to be an isolated incident.
Authorities received the call around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are on their way to the location, and they are currently speaking with witnesses.
Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has ordered an autopsy.
