According to the Columbus Division of Police, a shooting occurred in south Columbus early Saturday morning, leaving one person dead and four others injured.
Responding to reports of the incident around 5:10 a.m., officers arrived at the 1500 block of South High Street and found four individuals with gunshot wounds.
Unfortunately, one of the victims passed away at the scene at 5:18 a.m., while the other three were transported to local hospitals for medical attention.
Of the three, one is reported to be in a serious condition, while the other two are described as stable.
Additionally, a fifth victim, an adult, walked into Nationwide Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound and is currently in a life-threatening condition.
Columbus police have stated that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
