Police have confirmed that there was a reported shooting on Monday afternoon at Rose State College in Midwest City, resulting in one fatality and one individual taken into custody.
According to the police, a male suspect and a male victim were involved in a domestic situation that led to a shooting in the vicinity of the administrative building.
The shooter has been apprehended. The Midwest City Police Department had officers present on campus, who swiftly responded to reports of the shooting.
Upon arrival, they confronted the armed suspect and ordered him to relinquish the weapon, which he complied with, as stated by Porter.
Midwest City Police Chief Sid Porter confirmed that the victim was declared deceased at the location.
Porter also assured that the situation has been brought under control and there is no longer a possibility of an active shooter.
