Officials are conducting an investigation into an early Saturday morning incident in Roxbury that resulted in a double shooting, leaving Nelson Curet dead and another injured.
Upon receiving a report of a shooting on McGreevy Way in Mission Hill around midnight, responding officers were observed placing evidence markers along the roadway.
Both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where Nelson was tragically pronounced deceased.
The sister of the deceased Nelson Curet, speaking to FOX3 News off-camera, expressed her shock upon learning about her brother’s shooting, stating that he did not deserve such a fate.
She shared that he leaves behind three children, five siblings, and a grieving mother.
According to her, he was cherished by everyone and had a vibrant personality, always bringing life to any gathering.
She emphasized that he deeply cared for others and had a positive impact on everyone he encountered.
