The shots fired incident in the vicinity of Mineral School Road near Oak Run has been reported on by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.
As per the authorities, during the initial response to the incident, CHP air operations teams witnessed a possible hostage situation developing.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed an Officer Involved Shooting and stated that the male suspect has been apprehended.
After the incident, the suspect was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention, and currently, there is no information available about his condition.
