A shooting on the Hollywood Walk of Fame left a man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.
The shooting occurred just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday (April 14), near the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue, just feet away from the famed TCL Chinese Theatre.
Paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition, the Los Angeles Police Department told Urban Hollywood 411.

As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests had been made, police said.
Local news footage recorded shortly after the shooting showed LAPD cruisers parked along Hollywood Boulevard outside the mall where the Dolby Theatre — home of the Academy Awards — is located.
Officers canvassed the area as crowds walked by and street vendors sold food and trinkets.
The area is filled with tour bus companies, nightclubs, bars and restaurants, and movie theaters, and is usually crowded on weekend nights.

The victim may have been a good Samaritan who tried to intervene in an argument when a male suspect pulled out a gun and shot him, according to police.
The victim was not immediately identified, but street vendors told local station KTLA5 that the man is a local resident in his 30s known as “Scooter.”
A witness told the station the shooting may have been sparked by a theft at a sidewalk game called “three-card monte.” The witness said a woman “grabbed cash” from the players and ran. The group chased the woman and at some point a man who knew her pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Another bystander told the TV station the victim was “bleeding out of his head” and described the scene as “horrible.”
The LAPD is searching for two suspects, a man and a woman, both believed to be in their 20s. The two ran away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
The shooting is the latest violent incident on the Walk of Fame.
In January, a shooting at the busy tourist attraction left one person dead and two others injured. The three victims were described as men in their 30s who were coming out of a building when someone opened fire. That incident happened at 1:20 a.m. on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Cherokee Avenue.
Another shooting on the Walk of Fame left a teenager dead in August 2022.
