Man shot and killed his wife then turned the gun on himself outside T.J. Maxx in Brooklyn Center

Late Monday morning, two individuals were tragically shot and killed outside a bustling shopping area in Brooklyn Center.

According to the Brooklyn Center Police Department, officers were present in the vicinity of 1300 Shingle Creek Crossing around 11:40 a.m. when they heard two gunshots, one shortly after the other.

Upon investigation, they discovered one adult inside a vehicle and another adult outside the same vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Unfortunately, both individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Police have reported that a handgun was found at the scene, indicating that the incident was not a random occurrence.

However, no arrests have been made in relation to the incident. Tony Gruenig, a spokesperson for the Brooklyn Center Police Department, stated that they are not actively seeking any suspects at this time.
