An LAPD station needs extensive repairs after a woman allegedly pushed a burning shopping cart into the lobby, setting it on fire.
The Los Angeles Police Department posted pictures of the damaged Southwest Division Station to Twitter on Friday, April 7.
The photos showed burned out windows and damage to the walls. No one was injured in the blaze, according to police.

Along with the pictures, police announced 30-year-old Mishauna Eaton was arrested in connection with the fire and booked on suspicion of arson.
She is being held on $250,000 bail, police said.
The LAPD told local news station ABC7 that Eaton is believed to be homeless.
Police said the woman fled after pushing the shopping cart inside the station late Thursday night. She was arrested the following morning.
Located in the 1500 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, the station serves the city’s Southwest area, which includes Baldwin Village, Baldwin Vista, Crenshaw Community, Jefferson Park, Leimert Park, Crenshaw District, West Adams Community, and University Park.
A total of 352 sworn personnel and 32 civilian employees work out of the police station, according to the LAPD’s website.
The station is now closed to the public as a result of the fire.
“Southwest front lobby operations will be closed indefinitely,” police said in a statement. “Community members who would like to meet with an in-person officer or detective may visit any local station. We encourage people to utilize on line reporting.”
