Kristi Capel is an American journalist working as a news co-anchor at Fox 8 alongside Wayne Dawson and Stefani Schaefer. Previously, she worked at KSPR News in Springfield, Missouri as a reporter.
Capel joined Fox 8 News in January 2011 as a Morning News Anchor replacing Tracy McCool who moved to the 5 PM News in the evening at Fox 8. She co-anchors alongside Wayne Dawson and Stefani Schaefer in the morning news.
She also worked for two years at WJW-TV as a Host of New Day Cleveland from January 2012 to Mar 2014. Before joining Fox 8, Kristi worked at WBRE-TV and WYOU-TV as a Morning Show Weather Anchor for three years from 2008 to 2011.
Capel has also worked as a Radio host at two radio stations which include 1340 AM KADI which is a conservative talk radio station and 99 Hit FM which is a Contemporary Christian Music Radio station.
