Jessica White Talks Nick Cannon Breakup

The new trailer for season 11 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta has relationship drama, music industry drama, and a look at the drama in Nick Cannon’s relationship with former flame Jessica White.

White, who is a supermodel and actress, joins the cast of the rebooted reality series as she works on launching a music career.

In the super trailer released this week, she shares how her relationship with Cannon ended.

“I was in an eight year relationship,” White says in the preview.

After being asked who the relationship was with, an article about Nick and Jessica appears on screen.

“I had a miscarriage and then I ended up finding out that he got another woman pregnant,” White says in the video.

She and Cannon were first linked in 2015, following the end of his marriage to Mariah Carey.

In a 2021 interview with Fox Soul’s Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee, White said she “found out on Instagram — along with the rest of the world” that Cannon and his ex Brittany Bell were expecting their second child together.

“I was living at his house, and she knew that as well,” White said in the interview.

Just last month, Cannon gushed about White, saying he’s “still in love” with the supermodel. During a May 8 interview with Jason Lee, the father-of-12 called White “beautiful” and “my muse,” per OK! magazine.

According to the official description for the new season of LHHATL, White will be shown “chasing her dream of being a hit R&B singer – turning her heartbreak into platinum records.”

Rapper Erica Banks and rising hip-hop performer Amy Luciani are also joining the cast.

As previously reported, Spice, Erica Mena, Bambi, Rasheeda and Yandy are all returning to the reality series as it moves to MTV after previously airing on VH1.

Additional cast members on the season include Sierra Gates and Eric Whitehead; Scrappy; Momma Dee; Kirk Frost; Mendeecees; Safaree; Karlie Redd; Erica Dixon; Renni Rucci; Yung Joc and Kendra Robinson; and Shekinah Jo and Khaotic.

The new iteration of LHHATL is part of a “Tuesday Night Takeover” programming lineup on MTV, that also includes MTV Couples Retreat (formerly known as VH1 Couples Retreat); Caught in the Act: Unfaithful; and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta “Run It Back.”

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is executive produced by Sitarah Pendelton and Jubba Seyyid for MTV Entertainment Studios and Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Paris Bauldwin, Daniel Wiener, Alissa Horowitz, Mimi Adams, Gavin Lee Jones, and John Crenny for Antoinette Media.
