Grove Hill Police looking for Luwaun Hill, accused of shooting and killing Quarwon Pendleton

Late Thursday evening, a shooting in Grove Hill resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another.

The authorities are currently searching for 30-year-old Luwaun Belvince Hill, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Grove Hill Police Chief Daniel Gibson reported that Quarwon Na’Eem Pendleton, 36, was shot three times at a residence on Ezell Street around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Pendleton was transported to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to Grove Hill Police Chief Daniel Gibson, 32-year-old Charles Wayne Reed from Pascagoula was also injured in the shooting, suffering a gunshot wound to the foot.

He was treated at the hospital and has been released.

The motive for the shooting has not been disclosed by authorities yet.

Multiple agencies from Clarke, Wilcox, and Washington counties are helping with the investigation.
