Piqua Police Department is currently investigating a double shooting that occurred on Friday night.
At approximately 11:16 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Forrest Avenue, near Fountain Park, in response to a report of two men with gunshot wounds.
At the scene of the incident, Deacon Graham was pronounced deceased, whereas another man named David was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The police have filed charges against Cory Miller, a 19-year-old resident of Piqua, including one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Miller was apprehended at his residence in Piqua during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The police have not disclosed the cause or factors that led to the shooting. The incident is still under investigation.
