Casey Claiborne is an American journalist, who works as an Anchor of Good Day Austin on FOX 7 Austin. He has also served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter for KETK in Tyler, TX a walking distance from his hometown.
In his native Jacksonville, Texas, Casey began his career as a radio host. At the age of 16, he started hosting the “Let’s Talk” program on KEBE AM 1400 every Saturday morning. Just 20 minutes from his home in Tyler, Texas, Casey served as a reporter and weekend morning anchor for KETK prior to relocating to Austin.
Casey usually covered major events in addition to Austin City Council issues during his time as a reporter at Fox 7. On a brighter note, he covered SXSW, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and the Super Bowl in Houston.
