Carnival Cruise Line Suspicious Death Know Here! The Talks Today

According to Carnival Cruise Line, the passenger who died while on board a Carnival Cruise Line vessel over the weekend probably died naturally.

According to CBS News and NBC, the cruise line stated Tuesday that “all indications indicate the woman died from a medical condition while aboard Carnival Sunshine in The Bahamas.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), previously labeled February 27th death as “suspicious.”

Carnival stated Tuesday that “it appears that this was indeed an unfortunate medical situation that unfortunately resulted in death of a guest,” according to reports.

PEOPLE did not receive a response from the cruise line to our request for comment.

According to the statement by the FBI Columbia field office, the victim was found nonresponsive while Carnival Sunshine was sailing to Nassau last Monday.

According to the FBI, medical staff and crew tried to revive the woman. Later, the victim was declared dead aboard the ship.

According to the cruise line, the Sunshine will return to Charleston, S.C. on Saturday.

Carnival stated that it believed the initial response to an emergency medical was appropriate, according to reports.

FBI officials stated that the death did not pose a threat to other passengers and that it was an isolated incident.

After the ship returned to Charleston, the FBI Evidence Response Team examined the passenger’s bedroom.

“Both the deceased, and her husband, were debarked at Nassau,” a Carnival spokesperson told PEOPLE. “Bahamian authorities have already examined the circumstances and are performing an autopsy.”
