Carlos King Reveals Which Celeb He Wants to Join His Reality Empire

Carlos King knows how to make a reality show sizzle.

The CEO of Kingdom Reign Entertainment served as a producer on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

And he currently has a string of hit shows on OWN, including Mississippi-based Belle Collective and the Love & Marriage franchise.

King’s latest offering, Love & Marriage: Detroit, debuted June 24 and airs on Saturday nights.

In a recent interview with Urban Hollywood 411, the TV producer said he’s working on something new, which he plans to announce soon. We pressed him for more details, but he was coy saying, “I don’t want to get in trouble.”

Although he did tease, “My goal is to shoot a basket and score another championship.” We’re not sure what that means since VH1 already has Basketball Wives.

King also revealed which celebrity he’d like to see join his unscripted TV empire.

“I would love to do something with Lori Harvey,” he said, adding that he thinks the model and entrepreneur has an “interesting story to tell and an interesting lifestyle.”

“She’s super private, which makes me more intrigued,” King noted. “So, I would say she’s top on my list.”

He then shared his thoughts on season 15 of RHOA and essentially said the series needs a reset.

“I would love to see some old faces return,” he quipped.

King isn’t alone. Viewers have been clamoring on social media for Bravo to bring NeNe Leakes back to the franchise.

Leakes left the series in 2020. Then in April 2022, she filed a lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Bravo, and the production team behind the show, including executive producer Andy Cohen, alleging racial discrimination. The suit claimed producers violated federal employment and anti-discrimination laws. It also alleged Leakes’ complaints of racism to show brass contributed to her being forced off the series.

She dropped the lawsuit three months later, according to court documents obtained by People magazine, so it’s possible she could eventually return to RHOA.

Or maybe she could join one of King’s shows.
