ALL CLEAR! Today, the Broken Arrow Police Department responded to Broken Arrow High School to a call of a man with a gun.
At around 11:35am, BAPD received a call from an individual reporting that a student was threatening to shoot other students on campus while holding a gun in a classroom.
In response, BAPD promptly arrived at the high school by 11:40am and placed the school on lockdown.
After detaining two students who were suspected of having possession of the firearms, officers searched the campus but did not find any weapons in the possession of the detained students or anywhere else on campus.
BAPD has been collaborating with Broken Arrow Public Schools to investigate the matter. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the school is no longer under threat.
