Bill Cosby faces a new lawsuit from former Playboy model Victoria Valentino, who says the comedian drugged and sexually assaulted her in 1969.
Valentino, 80, sued Cosby Thursday in Los Angeles under a California law that temporarily lifted the statute of limitations in sexual assault cases.
In the lawsuit obtained by NBC News, Valentino said she met Cosby, now 85, in 1969 while auditioning for an acting role.
She later ran into the comedian while out with her roommate. The three had dinner and the TV star offered the two women pills to make them “all feel better,” the lawsuit states.
Valentino says she ingested a pill followed by a second one that Cosby put in her mouth. The documents say the comedian also gave her friend a pill.
The lawsuit says Cosby took the two women to an office, where both became unconscious. Valentino says she stood up and her legs collapsed beneath her. She alleges Cosby then raped her.

She is seeking unspecified damages in the civil lawsuit.
Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s spokesperson, accused Valentino in a statement on Thursday of having no “proof or facts.”
“What graveyard can Mr. Cosby visit, in order to dig up potential witnesses to testify on his behalf?” Wyatt said. “America is continuing to see that this a formula to make sure that no more Black Men in America accumulate the American Dream that was secured by Mr. Cosby.”
A Pennsylvania jury found Cosby guilty on April 26, 2018, of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the conviction in June 2021, citing misconduct by prosecutors, and the comedian was released from prison.
In June 2022, Cosby was found liable in Santa Monica, California, for sexually assaulting Judy Huth at the Playboy Mansion when she was a teenager in the 1970s. Jurors in the civil case awarded Huth $500,000 in damages.
