At least 9 people injured in Downtown Cleveland shooting

Multiple individuals were hospitalized following a shooting in Downtown Cleveland during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Sergeant Jennifer Ciaccia of the Cleveland Police Department confirmed that the incident took place around 2:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of West 6th Street.

According to Ciaccia, nine individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were subsequently transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.

The conditions of the injured individuals are currently uncertain; however, Sergeant Ciaccia confirmed that there have been no reported fatalities.

According to Ciaccia, an unidentified suspect fired shots at a group of people.

As of now, the Cleveland Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting.

Investigators are actively examining evidence and conducting interviews with the victims as part of the ongoing investigation.
