The shooting that occurred in Louisville today claimed the lives of Jim Tutt, Josh Barrick, Juliana Farmer, and Tommy Elliott. The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Connor Sturgeon, was also among the deceased.

The identities of the four innocent victims who were killed in the bank mass shooting in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday have been released.

The shooter, 23-year-old former bank employee Connor Sturgeon, also died in the incident. Among the victims were high-ranking officials at Old National Bank, including Tommy Elliott, 63, a senior vice president who was a personal friend of Gov. Andy Beshear.

The other victims were identified as Jim Tutt, 64, a market executive, Joshua Barrick, 40, another senior vice president, and Juliana Farmer, 45, a commercial loan specialist. Gov. Beshear spoke highly of Elliott, saying that he helped him build his law career, advised him on fatherhood, and contributed to his success as governor. The loss of these individuals, he said, is devastating.

According to police, on Monday morning, Connor Sturgeon stormed into the Old National Bank’s conference room in Louisville, Kentucky and opened fire, killing four victims, including senior vice presidents Tommy Elliot and Joshua Barrick, market executive Jim Tutt, and commercial loan specialist Juliana Farmer.

Additionally, eight others were injured, including two police officers, and taken to a nearby hospital. Nicholas Wilt, a 26-year-old new police recruit who graduated from the police academy just a month ago, was shot in the head and remained in critical condition on Monday afternoon.

Two other victims were also in critical condition, and three were receiving treatment for non-critical injuries. Police have confirmed that Sturgeon, a former bank employee, was the shooter and was killed during a brief shootout with responding officers. It remains unclear whether he killed himself or was shot by the police.
