During the early morning hours of July 8th, 2023, officers from the SAPD responded to a shooting incident in the 5000 block of MiddleField Dr.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a deceased male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound.
According to gathered information, the identified suspect engaged in a physical altercation with the victim upon arriving at the location.
During this altercation, the suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim.
Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to ascertain the identity of the suspect, leading to their prompt apprehension shortly after the incident.
The suspect has since been arrested and charged with Murder.
