Sheriff Jason Ard has confirmed that deputies are currently examining a shooting incident that occurred today.
The incident transpired shortly before 11 AM on Wisteria Ln in the Springfield vicinity.
Unfortunately, this incident led to the fatality of an adult male, whose identity will be revealed pending notification of their next of kin.
The investigation is still in its initial stages and remains ongoing.
